In the suburb Bikovo a Water intake facility is put into function with a revitalized well and pumping station. It is necessary to provide Organized water supply in 3 suburbs: Tavankut and Ljutovo, Šupljak and Hajdukovo.

The Taking-over was performed for Water Line of the new Waste Water Treatment Plant of the City Subotica  from the Contractor Dutch company "DHV".

In the Notification period of one year the outstanding works will be eliminated.

Public Utility Company "Water Supply and Sewerage" Subotica was awarded with International HACCP standard. This standard represents a logical, scientifically based system for the process control of production and distribution of food products, which includes water for drinking.

Subotica Waterworks and Sewerage PUC signed a contract with an Italian company, Culligan from Bologna and the LAD Group on the building of the 2nd stage of water factory in Water Intake I for eliminating arsenic, as a harmful component in raw water treatment.

The calibration laboratory was built and equipped with modern instruments for the quality control of potable water flow meters.

The Laboratory for Potable Water Quality Control was refurbished and additionally equipped.

A business mobile communication line was introduced in the PUC by Telekon Srbija, in order to make communication cost effective and to increase the effectiveness of top executives and intervention teams.

The Subotica Municipal Assembly passed a decision on normalizing the operation and financial operations of the Subotica Waterworks and Sewerage PUC.

The hydro-mechanic, electric and power, and measuring and controlling equipment of the Water Intake I pump station was regenerated and updated thereby the capacity and cost effectiveness of water supply in the summer period has been increased from 250 to 400 litres/seconds.

A new, modern and special video-camera was supplied for sewage network diagnostics.

EBRD experts reviewed the operations of the Subotica Waterworks and Sewerage PUC, and concluded that the PUC satisfies the criteria for applying to international loans and donations.

The 40th anniversary of the Subotica Waterworks and Sewerage PUC has been celebrated.

The Subotica Municipal Assembly introduced the Programme for Overcoming the Crisis in the Subotica Waterworks and Sewerage PUC, emerged in the operations and finances of the PUC.

The regeneration of the Subotica WWTP has started with the aim to increase its capacity and to modernise the waste water aeration system.

A new, ORACLE technology-based IT system has been developed for the Finance Department, Consumers Division and Water Meter Department aimed at improving the quality of relations with consumers.

The building of collector VII and collector O was finalised. (Thereby the basic sewage network of Subotica has been completed).

The Tisa-Palic Channel was opened bringing fresh water to the lake from the river Tisa.

The Water Factory was put into operation, which, within the treatment process, levels iron, arsenic and ammonia content in the water and has a capacity of 12.600.000 litres of water a year.

Most of industrial water polluters have ended the building of primary waste water treatment installations or introduced changed in their technology.

Collector VII is being built. (Thereby the basic sewage network of Subotica has been completed).

The water supply of Bajmok, Đurđin and Mišićevo settlements has been taken over by the PUC.

The Laboratory for Waste Waters becomes a public laboratory for physical, chemical, bacteriological and toxicological analyses of waste and surface waters.

The implementation of disperse water supply has started in the city. The building of sewerages in Palic and Cantavir has started.

The building of Water Intake II has started (from voluntary tax funds).

The laboratories for potable water and for waste water have been separated organisationally and spatially.

Proposed by the PUC, the Municipal Assembly passed a decision on sewerage, and on the base of that decision polluters are sanctioned if individual parameters of pollution are exceeded.

The largest polluters started to build their own facilities for the primary treatment of waste waters or reorganised their production technology.

The filling of Lake Palic with water has been completed. (From setting into operation until to-day, the WWTP has treated 12.000.000 m3 of waste water, i.e. 28.000 m³ a day.) The water supply of Novi Zednik settlement has been taken over by the PUC.

The Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) started its operation.

The water supply of Čantavir, Višnjevac and Bački Vinogradi settlements has been taken over by the PUC.
